CRPF personnel save unconscious man in Srinagar’s Zakura with timely CPR | KNO

Srinagar, Jun 03 (KNO): A 35-year-old civilian was revived by CRPF personnel after he was found unconscious in the Zakura area of Srinagar on Wednesday, officials said. Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man suddenly fell unconscious near Zakura, prompting immediate intervention by a patrol team of 28 Battalion CRPF. They said the patrol team, led by Sub-Inspector (GD) Rajesh Kumar, swiftly responded and administered CPR along with Sorbitrate to the civilian on the spot. “Due to the timely response and emergency assistance provided by the CRPF personnel, the man regained consciousness,” an official said. The officials said the man was later identified as Altaf Ahmad, a resident of Srinagar. He was subsequently shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Habak for further medical examination and treatment, where doctors said he was fit and stable—(KNO)
